Returns and refunds policy

Unwanted goods

Returns for unwanted goods may be made within 14 days of receipt.

Items returned because they are no longer wanted are posted at the expense of the buyer and will be subject to a 20% handling and re-stocking fee.

Faulty goods

Any item returned due to a manufacturing fault or failure within the warranty period will be postage paid for by the Music First.  Where possible, we will aim to replace the item with an exact model or functionally similar item of equivalent or better value.  Where no replacement is available we will offer a refund of the current value market value of the item in its current condition as if it were still functioning correctly.

Damaged goods

Goods damaged in transit will be replaced where possible under the terms of the shipping insurance.  Where no replacement is available, a refund of the purchase price will be claimed from the shipping insurance.

Where goods have been in use and damaged through lack of care, willful act, accident or negligence, we are unable to offer a replacement, but would be happy to help provide an assessment of the cost of repair or replacement for you to claim from your insurance.  There is a cost for this service on application.

Returns process

In ALL cases, returns must be pre-authorised.  Any item received WITHOUT an RMA number will not be accepted and returned to the buyer at their expense.  For faulty items we will issue a returns label.  For items sent at your expense we recommend at a minimum a 'signed-for' and insured delivery service.
